Charlotte Yau
Cognitive-behavioural Therapist
Therapeutic Approach
I am a dedicated CBT therapist with a special interest in Intercultural Therapy. While my practice is built on the evidence-based foundations of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I intuitively blend other modalities to fit your therapeutic needs, including:
Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT)
Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT)
If life has left you feeling overwhelmed, exhausted or disconnected from who you are, please know things can change. I am here to help you move beyond just getting through the day by guiding you toward a life grounded in emotional safety, deep healing and a hopeful future.
Beyond the Therapy Room
When I’m not working with clients, you can usually find me trying out a new recipe, spending time with my cats or refreshing my mind with a swim. I also love to unwind through various creative art, whether that’s watercolor painting, junk journaling or urban sketching.
